small world

when i was sixteen i bought the Weezer album Make Believe the day it came out. didn’t really care for it, but i loved the illustrations inside. i ended up chopping it up and pasting it inside my journal. it has been, and is, one of my all time favorite pictures.

i had my headphones in, listening to Picaresque, while leafing through my beloved jounal and i stopped to stare (see bellow) i’ve wanted it tattooed for quite some time- and then i realized how funny it is that i want it inked but i don’t know who drew it. thanks to google, i found out my artist’s name: Carson Ellis, wife of the lead singer of the Decemberists, the band i was listening to.

Whoa

This is not a painting - this is a photograph of a painted man. So clever.
